What am I entitled to?
In order so that you can apply for benefits we suggest that you:
- Prepare a 24 hour diary sheet showing a complete breakdown of care. (This can also be used as an aid to completing the form)
- Get a letter of support from your Respiratory Nurse and/or Consultant.

Council Tax reduction for disabled people
Council tax can be reduced by one band if a disabled person (child or adult) has a room which is mainly used by them for their treatment or therapy.

The form (which you can get from your local Council) is very easy and quick to fill in and we recommend that you send an explanatory letter about PCD.
